- "Tarantella" Hilaire Belloc
- "Anne and the Field mouse" Ian Seraillier
- "Home from Abroad" Laurie Lee
- "The Tyger" William Blake (25 marks)
- Perform a sonnet written after 1950 (25 marks)
- Perform a short poem of their own choice. Time limit 2 minutes (25 marks)
Grade 5 Intermediate Medal (15 Minutes)

Speech: 25 marks
Learners should:

Perform an extract of their own selection from ONE of the following:
- "The Pied Piper of Hamelin" Robert Browning
- "The Lady of Shallott" Lord Tennyson
- "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner" Samuel Taylor Coleridge. Time limit 3 minutes (25 marks)
- Perform a sonnet by John Donne or John Clare (25 marks)
- Perform a short poem of their own choice. Time limit 2 minutes (25 marks)
