Jill writes: I am currently involved in 'Community Arts' by directing Youth/Opera Groups professionally and teaching for Italia Conti.My ongoing examining and adjudicating experience has spread from Asia to Europe, America to Africa and over two decades. Professional stage/TV work has enabled me to experience both sides of stagecraft with a creative and accomplished view. As a fairly new member of NEA examiners board I am thoroughly enjoying being part of a team who work with teachers and candidates in order to make the examination experience enjoyable and worthwhile. I am a deputy/committee member of The British and International Federation of Festivals. Later this year my first book, which is an anthology of acting pieces for young people is due to be published. The themes are global and multi-cultural as my experiences have shown me that there is a distinct lack of performance material in that important and ever increasing category.
